COURTBORN — Privacy Policy

Effective date: 9 October 2026

1. Summary

COURTBORN is a single-player game that works offline. It has no user accounts, no chat, no multiplayer and no in-app purchases. We, the publisher, do not collect, receive or store any personal data on our own servers: we have none.

The app shows ads served by Google AdMob (Google LLC / Google Ireland Limited). To do so, the Google Mobile Ads SDK built into the app processes some data, described in section 3.

2. Data stored on your device

Your career progress, settings and statistics are saved only in the app's private storage on your device. They are not transmitted to us. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data deletes them.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob) and consent

To serve, measure and protect ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process:

Purposes: advertising (including, where you allow it, personalised advertising), ad measurement, analytics related to ad delivery, and fraud prevention and security. Data is transmitted encrypted.

Consent. Where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and some US states), the app shows Google's consent message (User Messaging Platform) before requesting ads, and requests ads only when that is allowed. You can review or change your choices at any time from Settings → Privacy & ad choices in the game. Without consent to personalised ads, Google may serve non-personalised or limited ads.

You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads).

Google's own processing is described at: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and https://policies.google.com/privacy.

4. Legal bases (EEA/UK)

5. Children

COURTBORN is not directed at children under 13 (or the higher minimum age that applies in your country) and is not designed for them. We do not knowingly allow ads to be personalised for children.

6. International transfers

Google may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under the safeguards it describes in its policies (for example the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses).

7. Retention

We retain no personal data. Retention by Google is governed by Google's policies.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time (Settings → Privacy & ad choices) without affecting prior processing. Since we hold no data about you, requests about ad data are best directed to Google; you can also contact us at paolo.varano@yahoo.it. You may lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (for Italy: Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it).

9. Changes

We will update this page and its effective date if the app's data practices change.
